magnificent waterfalls
which reach heights of over a hundred meters, are one of the most remarkable natural attractions in the Moroccan Atlas.
They allow the Ouzoud River, a seasonal mountain torrent, to join the El Abid River canyon about a kilometer away. A well-kept path leads through olive groves to the waterfall's base.
This trail brings you closer and closer to the falls.
You can descend to the bottom of the depression, where a deafening torrent rushes down. The view of the chasm from the top of the waterfall is breathtaking.
Several small wheat mills, housed in narrow huts on the outskirts of the falls, are still in operation. Visitors may occasionally spot free-roaming monkeys in the dense foliage bordering the waterfalls. Please contact us for pricing.
