Overview
Day 1: Start your journey from Marrakech to Fez.
En route, stop at the magnificent Ouzoud Waterfalls for lunch at a local restaurant with a view. After admiring the magnificent falls, continue towards Azilal crossing the Aghbar mountain to reach the Ait Bouguemez valley, also known as the Happy Valley. Spend the night in a local inn or shelter.
Day 2: Immerse yourself in the daily life of the Berber inhabitants of the Ait Bouguemez valley.
The men who take care of the irrigation, the children who herd the cattle and the women who drive the cows to pasture are all visible. Discover the fascinating process of animal-drawn threshing and the summer harvest. Discover the distinctive architecture of the valley. Spend the night in the company of a local.
Day 3: Return to Marrakech via Demnate, an important commercial center in southern Morocco.
Along the way, visit the natural bridge of Imi n'Ifri before arriving in Marrakech late in the afternoon.
