Depart at 9 a.m. from Marrakech, the ochre city that remains the captivating capital of the South and attests to the country's historical and cultural richness. Travel to Ouarzazate, which is well-known for international film productions due to the beauty of its natural landscapes and the quality of its light. The city, located between the desert and the valleys of Drâa and Dadès, is a must-see for anyone visiting Southern Morocco. Visit the Tizin Tichka pass, Morocco's highest mountain pass at 2260 meters, along the way. Then, make a mandatory stop in Telouet to see the beautiful Kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Spend the night and dine at an Ouarzazate hotel.
Depart from Ouarzazate for Ouzoud after breakfast. Pass through Demnate, which is known for its Jewish quarter (Mellah) and its natural bridge "Iminifri," which has been designated as a site of biological and ecological interest (SIBE) and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. Continue to Ouzoud, which is located in the Middle Atlas mountain range. These waterfalls (about 100 meters in height) are the highest and most fascinating in the country. You will have free time to explore the waterfalls' natural wonders at your leisure. Spend the night and dine at an Ouzoud hotel.
After breakfast, return to Marrakech via the Ourika Valley. This lush valley and its traditional riverside restaurants are primarily inhabited by Berbers and are thought to be relatively unspoiled in terms of both nature and traditional mountain life. You will be surrounded by magnificent and diverse landscapes such as mountains, red to green colored rocks, and various fruit trees. In the late afternoon, return to Marrakech.
