Unlike the golden dunes of the Sahara, the’Agafay Desert reveals a spectacular scenery of rocky hills, arid plateaus and’s of raw beauty spanning hundreds of’hectares. This remarkable terrain, often compared to a « reg », is covered with stones and pebbles, offering a striking panorama of white and ochre hills.
Although’il does not offer the sandy seas of the Sahara, the’Agafay Desert has an authentic charm and rich history, having once hosted trade routes connecting Marrakech to neighboring regions. Today’ is a haven of peace and a playground for the lovers of’adventure. Our excursion of’a half-day is designed to make you discover this unique environment, combining thrills and moments of serenity.
Exciting expedition in quad
Get ready for a CLIMb of’adrenaline during our quad tour of’one hour through the varied and spectacular landscapes of the’Agafay desert. Drive your quad on red dirt tracks, cross rocky hills and cross arid plains reminiscent of the great classic deserts. Throughout the course, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains of the’Atlas, often snowy.
More than’a simple quick tour, this activity is a real immersion in nature. Carefully chosen panoramic stops will allow you to take great photos and savor the’instant. A stop to enjoy a traditional mint tea is provided, to relax while admiring the peaceful beauty of the’Agafay desert.
Peaceful ride on camel
For a softer but equally memorable experience, embark on a 30 to 45-minute camel ride in the heart of the desert. Camels, nicknamed « desert ships », are an integral part of Moroccan culture. This walk is a unique opportunity to reconnect with a millennial tradition.
Let yourself be rocked to the rhythm of the camel by exploring this mineral and peaceful setting. You will discover another facet of the landscape, marked by the silence and vastness of the desert, against the backdrop of the majestic mountains of the’Atlas. C’ is an ideal parenthesis to move away from the’ bustle of Marrakech and reconnect with nature.
