First Day: Arrival

arrival at the Menara Airport in Marrakech. Warm greetings and support. go from there to the hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate, Marrakech, Tizi n'Tichka, and Skoura

After breakfast, set off on a tour through the whole Atlas mountain range to the Tizi n'Tichka pass. You will see the North, which resembles the Mediterranean, and the South, which starts to resemble the Sahara, all in one day. The historic town of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for its outstanding earthy architecture, will serve as the setting for lunch. You can choose to cross the river and have a stroll around the narrow streets of the historic hamlet. Some locals may even let you into their traditional homes.

Day 3: Tineghir, Skoura, Dadès Gorges, and Todra Gorges

Get to the Dadès Gorges entrance at Boumalne by using the main road. The spectacular Dadès and Todra Gorges, which are connected by the major road, merit a whole day of exploration. Hotel accommodations in Tineghir.

Day 4: Tinejdad, Merzouga, Erfoud, and Tineghir

Visit the famed Todra Gorges after breakfast. Think about taking a leisurely stroll around the palmeraie gardens, which are supplied with water all year long. The Museum of Saharan Life is located in Tinejdad, a tiny hamlet in the east, where you may continue. Even when it contradicts European clichés, this museum, which was organized by a Spanish historian, presents a scientific viewpoint on life as it is or was. Continue your journey to Erfoud, Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, and continue traveling until you see the Merzouga dune field in the distance. For your trip to the desert camp, which is situated in a spectacular desert scenery, meet your camel and your camel driver at the base of the dunes. Enjoy a night and an evening at the camp.

Day 5: Tazzarine, Tansikht, Alnif, Rissani, Merzouga, and Zagora

Return to your car after enjoying breakfast and the magnificent dawn over the desert. The Draa Valley, a lengthy oasis, may be reached by traveling to Tazzarine and Tansikht after passing through the little village of Alnif, which is well-known for its fossils. To go to Zagora, use this valley road. In the palmeraie, spend the night in a hotel.

Day 6: Ouarzazate, Zagora, Tamgroute, Zagora

Take a quick trip to Tamgroute in the south, where you can see the subterranean kasbah, the Quranic library, and pottery studios known for their distinctive products that can be seen in many Moroccan homes. Go back to Zagora. Then, go to Ouarzazate, mostly traveling along the riverbank path to pass through towns, take in local culture, and cross the desert. Stop for lunch at Tamnougalte at noon. Explore the narrow streets of the ancient hamlet, where a few families still live and where some European NGOs are helping to restore some of the homes. This location could be familiar to you if you've seen "The Sheltering Sky." Before reaching Ouarzazate for lunch, continue through the last Saghro Mountain foothills after Agdz. Arrive at Aat Benhaddou in the late afternoon. Your hotel will be overlooking the UNESCO-designated ancient village.

Day 7: Tizi n'Tichka, Ait Benhaddou, Telouet, and Marrakech

When the weather and track conditions permit, go back to Marrakech along the old caravan route between Ait Benhaddou and Telouet. Visit the Glaoui Kasbah, a medieval fortification near Telouet that formerly controlled the caravan route that transported goods from Sub-Saharan Africa to Moroccan towns. Lunch is provided at a hotel near to Telouet that is situated in the middle of an orchard and beside a river. You'll get to Marrakech by late afternoon if you travel back to the Tizi n'Tichka pass route. In the old city, spend the night at a guesthouse.
