Three days spent exploring the High Atlas Mountains and one of southern Morocco's most beautiful oases, which is home to some incredible Kasbahs.

Day1: Marrakech - Telouet - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate

After breakfast, depart by car or minibus for the Tizi n'Tichka pass, Morocco's and North Africa's highest mountain pass. You leave the main road shortly after the pass to reach the village of Telouet. Visit the old kasbah of Glaoui, which controlled the caravan routes that brought products from Sub-Saharan Africa back to Marrakech for five centuries. Then you'll follow the old caravan trail down to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We recommend crossing the river and exploring the streets of the old village, which has incredible earthen architecture. Descend to Ouarzazate and continue to the Farm of the Stars. A bivouac night.

Day 2: 220 kilometers from Ouarzazate to Boumalne Dades

Visit the Skoura oasis after breakfast. The palm grove is a surprising labyrinth of paths and tracks shaded by palm trees that wind through fields from village to village. Various vegetables, fruits, and fodder grow in the fields, and livestock includes sheep, goats, cows, and poultry. The entire area is irrigated by a network of canals, and residents share water according to ancient rules. The landscape is dotted with magnificent Kasbahs. Some are in ruins, while others continue to be inhabited. The Amerhidil Kasbah (17th century) is one of them.

The famous "Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs" begins shortly after Skoura and continues to Boumalne du Dadès, the Dadès Valley's final stop. Dinner and accommodation in Boumalne Dadès.

Day 3: Boumalne Dades - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

Day 4: Return to Marrakech after breakfast via the Palmeraie and the Ait Benhaddou pass.
